What it actually looks like.
The first weeks with a new baby are joyful and brutal. We send experienced midwives and carers to your home to care for the mother and the newborn together — the mother's recovery and the baby's feeding, growth and health checks, and the household's sanity in between.
Whether your delivery was straightforward or difficult, we visit on a schedule that suits you. Some families want daily visits for the first ten days; others want a midwife on call for both mother and baby.

From first call to first visit.
Antenatal intro
We meet you in the third trimester so the carer is not a stranger in your first week home.
Postnatal visits
Daily for the first week, then tapering. We watch for warning signs in mother and baby, and act fast.
Handover
By twelve weeks most families need us less. We finish with a long check-in and a number you can still call.

Are your midwives registered?+
Yes — all our midwives hold current registration with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council.
Do you handle home births?+
We do not deliver babies at home, but we work closely with the hospital you've chosen and pick up immediately after discharge.
